Job Description:

Are you ready to take on the role of an SAP PS (Project System) Consultant at our company? As a consultant, you will play a vital part in the implementation, customization, and support of SAP Project System modules.

In this position, you'll collaborate closely with stakeholders to grasp business requirements, align them with SAP functionality, and deliver tailored solutions to meet our organization's needs.

Your responsibilities will also include offering guidance to project teams, mentoring junior consultants, and ensuring adherence to SAP best practices and methodologies throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- SAP PS Implementation and Support:

Utilize your extensive 5-9 years of experience to spearhead SAP PS implementation projects and provide continuous support to ensure success.

- Full Life Cycle Implementation:

Engage in 2+ full life cycle SAP ECC implementations or rollouts as an SAP PS consultant, following the ASAP methodology for effective implementation and rollout.

- Business Requirement Mapping:

Translate diverse business requirements into standardized SAP functionality, offering recommendations for best practices and solution design.

- SAP Customization:

Exercise hands-on skills in SAP customization within SAP PS modules, encompassing Project Profile, Network and Activity related profiles, Cost planning, Budgeting, Scheduling, Settlement, and Result Analysis (RA).

- Integration with Other SAP Modules:

Comprehend and oversee integration points between SAP PS and modules like MM, FICO, and SD to ensure smooth data flow and process integration.

- Procurement and Billing:

Demonstrate expertise in project-related procurement processes and resource-related billing within SAP PS.

- Documentation and Test Preparation:

Develop functional documents, specifications, manuals, and test scripts, ensuring comprehensive documentation of solution design and configuration.

- Team Management and Mentoring:

Lead a team of 3-5 individuals, providing mentorship to enhance their skills, leading by example, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

- Global Market Experience:

Having experience in a global market environment can be advantageous, showcasing an understanding of cultural nuances and diverse business practices.

- S/4 HANA Experience:

While not mandatory, hands-on experience with S/4 HANA can be beneficial for this role.

- Project Leadership:

Take charge of small sub-projects within larger SAP implementation initiatives, guiding project personnel to ensure compliance with architectural standards and methodologies.

- Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
5-9 years of experience in SAP PS implementation and support roles, focusing on SAP ECC implementations.
Strong grasp of SAP PS functionality, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.
Experience with ASAP methodology and full life cycle implementation projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, interacting effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Team leadership and mentoring experience, facilitating the growth of junior consultants.
Certification in SAP PS or related modules will be advantageous.
