We are Hiring Java Technical Lead to join our team at Data Economy

Role: Java Technical Lead

Qualification: BTech/MTech/MCA

Job Location: Hyderabad/Pune

Experience: 8+ years

Work Mode: Hybrid

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of Java developers.
  • Design, and implement robust and scalable microservices-based applications using Java.
  • Drive best practices in coding, design, and development methodologies within the team.
  • Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.
  • Lead the planning, estimation, and prioritization of development tasks.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions, meeting project deadlines and objectives.
  • Hands-on development of Java-based applications, utilizing Spring Boot framework and other relevant technologies.
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs for seamless integration with external systems.
  • Implement automated testing strategies to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the development team.
  • Mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards to maintain code quality and consistency.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance software development practices and toolsets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Lead Java Developer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).
  • Extensive experience in developing microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and Agile practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP and DevOps practices is desirable.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Create Spark dynamic jobs
• Design, develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies to support the tactical and strategic reporting and analytics needs.
• Develop and maintain scripts and queries to import, manipulate, clean, transform data from different sources
• Perform quality assurance on generated results to ensure accuracy and consistency using Data visualization software and techniques
• Design, evaluate, reconciliation and monitor key metrics, understanding root causes of changes in metrics
• Participate in analysis sessions to understand functional and non-functional requirements
• Create/develop code and jobs in java spark while following enterprise best practices
• Document application designs, data structures
• Provide technical insight and develop work estimates to project planners
• Deploy and maintain application services in a production environment.
