Job Description

Data Analyst role at India Digital Operations Center involves developing solutions to extract valuable insights from data sources across the organization. This includes integrating data, building data models, creating visualizations, and driving data-based decision-making. Attention to improving quality, reliability, and efficiency is key.

Responsibilities
  • Understand business needs and stakeholder requirements for supporting work processes and strategic objectives.
  • Utilize data, software engineering, and data science techniques to add business value through data accessibility.
  • Make data-driven decisions and insights using predictive models to enhance operations and asset performance.
  • Analyze large volumes of data using tools like Python and SQL/NoSQL to provide valuable insights.
  • Effectively communicate complex analytic results to various audiences.
Required Experience
  • Practical experience in data mining, cleaning, transformation, and validation.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages like Python and SQL for handling large datasets.
  • Expertise in relational databases, particularly skilled at SQL querying.
  • Ability to analyze massive datasets, extract insights, and identify trends.
  • Experience in creating visualizations using BI tools like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functionalities for data analysis.
  • Expertise in advanced analytics and statistical modeling.
  • Experience in effectively communicating insights to stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
  • Knowledge of cloud environments, especially data lake and data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong understanding of advanced statistical techniques.
  • Experience in implementing AI/ML/DL models using Python.
  • Hands-on experience with time series data and forecasting.
  • Exposure to SAP Modules and maintenance processes improvement.
Required Qualification
  • B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering with interest in Data Analytics, or B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science with 1 year experience in Chemical/Manufacturing/Process industry.
Required Skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external resources.
  • Ability to build financial business cases.
  • Quick understanding of chemical processes and automation impact.
