Job Summary: Straive is in search of an experienced Analytics Delivery Leader to head their team of analysts and data scientists. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of complex analytics projects, managing client relationships, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of analysts and data scientists to deliver high-quality analytics solutions to banking and financial services clients
  • Build strong relationships with clients, delivering tailored analytics solutions to meet their specific needs
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities and drive growth
  • Maintain expertise in banking and financial services domain, staying abreast of industry trends
  • Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Develop and manage project plans, resource allocation, and budgeting for analytics projects
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables, including data analysis, reporting, and visualization
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans as needed
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align with company goals and objectives
  • Understand client needs and preferences, using this knowledge to inform business development and sales strategies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science) or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or related field, with a focus on banking and financial services
  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact analytics solutions
  • Experience in developing and deploying predictive/ML solutions for complex business problems
  • Strong understanding of banking and financial services industry, including regulatory requirements and trends
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience in team management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, thinking critically and strategically
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and programming languages (Python, PySpark, SQL)
  • Understanding of data governance and quality principles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Attention to detail, focusing on quality and accuracy
