Responsibilities:

  • Follow traditional recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Innovate and develop new chaat recipes, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner and meet our standards for taste and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory, order ingredients, and ensure proper storage of food items.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain a positive and efficient working environment.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed.
  • Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate new techniques and recipes as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chat Making Cook or in a similar role specializing in Indian street food.
  • Extensive knowledge of chaat dishes, ingredients, and traditional preparation methods.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
  • Culinary school certification or relevant professional experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
