Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of chaat dishes, including pani puri, bhel puri, sev puri, dahi puri, aloo tikki chaat, and more.
- Follow traditional recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality.
- Innovate and develop new chaat recipes, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner and meet our standards for taste and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory, order ingredients, and ensure proper storage of food items.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain a positive and efficient working environment.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate new techniques and recipes as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chat Making Cook or in a similar role specializing in Indian street food.
- Extensive knowledge of chaat dishes, ingredients, and traditional preparation methods.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
- Culinary school certification or relevant professional experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
