Job Title: Wireless LAN (WLAN) Engineer

The **WLAN Engineer** position at **MosChip** in Hyderabad involves working with wireless network technologies. As a **WLAN Engineer**, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining WLAN/Wi-Fi systems and protocols. Here are the details:

Key Requirements:
- Strong skills in C Programming & debugging within an embedded environment
- Hands-on experience with WLAN/Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, HTTP(S), ICMP, DHCP protocol stacks
- Good understanding of current Wi-Fi standards including 802.11a, b, g, n (knowledge of 802.11ac is a bonus)
- Familiarity with Wireless/Network Security protocols and Enterprise Security testing (e.g., 802.1x, Radius Authentication, WPA2, WPA3)
- Experience in Firmware development, Android, and Linux Wi-Fi stack and framework
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi sniffers and related tools such as Wireshark and Omnipeek
- Proficiency in handling logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and network analyzers
- Scripting skills in python/shell scripting are advantageous
- Exposure to SDLC processes, development, testing, release management, and tools for development and testing
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
