Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industrystandard automation tools and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, and quality assurance teams to understand project requirements and define test objectives.
  • Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on system requirements and functional specifications.
  • Execute automated test scripts to validate software functionality, identify defects, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Analyze test results, investigate failures, and report bugs to the development team using a bug tracking system.
  • Participate in test case reviews, requirement analysis, and test strategy discussions to contribute to the overall test approach.
  • Continuously improve and expand the test automation framework to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain a library of reusable test scripts and test data.
  • Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline by integrating automated tests into the build and deployment process.
  • Provide accurate and timely test status reports, metrics, and documentation to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Automation Testing Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in automation testing.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for scripting and test automation.
  • Handson experience with automation testing tools and frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or Robot Framework.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
(Preference will be given to immediate joiners)

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Gurgaon, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

Automation Testing: 1 year (preferred)
