Job Requirement:

  • Ensure quality of the fabrication items, welded components, machined components, assembly items manufactured at supplier premises.
  • Ensure quality of the parts / product during inward stage & GRN clearance. Ensure parts / components are inspected at receipt stage as per ITP / Quality Plan.
  • Conduct Vendor Initial Assessment Audit & Process Evaluation Audits and give recommendation reports to H-QA for approval.
  • Conduct Supplier Quality Performance evaluation with vendor & purchase team for First Pass Yield, Receipt Quality, Site NCR's. Ensure preventive measures has been defined and implemented for quality performance improvement.
  • Raise product NCRs wherever deviation observed against specified requirement & conduct root cause analysis on product NCRs and on Customer complaints pertaining to suppliers.
  • Preparation, Review & approval to Inspection Checklist / Reports, Quality Work Instruction / Guidelines, & ITP.
  • ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor, Instrumental in establishing & implementing welding process(s) as per EN1090 & ASME SEC-IX.
  • Ensure periodical calibration of measuring instruments & testing equipment's carried out from NABL Labs.
  • Preparation of Department Process Manual & Quality plan for receipt & vendor quality function.
  • Identify Risk & Opportunity in the activities carried out related to inward & vendor QA inspection
  • Ensure defective / rejected parts / components are physically kept in quarantine area & kept in SAP Block stock. Ensure periodical block stock review meeting is conducted with purchase & store team to decide disposal action on block stock material.
  • Ensure closure of NCR's, Customer complaint pertaining to vendor supplied material.
  • Maintain ISO9001 Quality documentation.
  • Preparation of inspection schedule for deployment of inspector's as per vendor inspection planning.
  • Drive the vendor quality improvement activity jointly with purchase team.
