Okay, now you know at a high level that we are focused on data storytelling.

The data space has over $100B in market opportunity ahead of it, and modern Business Intelligence tools are growing at over 15% year over year.


Currently most data-centric organizations have a large team that builds dashboards and manually generates reports to communicate the product story broadly.

But a large part of this process can be easily productized.

We do this by leveraging decades of our founders' experience in helping organizations understand their product metrics into easily accessible and actionable stories that are automatically generated.

The core part of this effort is building Sundial's library of analytical insights and packaging them together to form analysis templates.

As a Data Scientist, you will be working on...

  • Envisioning, Designing, and Creating templates which are a collection of common analyses around a topic like user growth, retention, signup funnels.
  • Envisioning, Designing and Coding up the analyses that fit into these templates
  • Working with individual clients to understand their needs in order to create a Sundial product solution that fits them.
  • Partnering with PMs and Designers to tell data stories and partnering with engineers to build these stories scalably.
You will have...

- graduated from a top tier undergraduate institution (IIT, BITs, IIM etc) and/or demonstrated excellence is their area of interest
  • Strong background in data science and analytics
  • Fluency in Python Pandas coding and SQL
  • Strong background in software development including writing code that goes into production. This generally requires familiarity with Python, Golang, Java, C, GitHub.
  • Excellent communication skills that means you can deftly tell stories with data
