About the job:

Key responsibilities:

1. Organize and maintain client documents, case files, and records in both physical and electronic formats, ensuring accurate and timely access to information as needed.

2. Conduct research about client s cases using online databases, libraries, and other resources to support the director at Law Gate in case preparation, document drafting, and analysis of legal issues.

3. Assist in drafting documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and correspondence under the guidance & supervision of the director, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with legal requirements.

4. Serve as a point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing updates on case progress as directed by the director.

5. Assist with general administrative tasks, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, answering phone calls, and handling correspondence.

6. Oversee website updates and social media pages under the guidance of the director.

7. Help in all matters about client tasks as directed by and under the guidance of the director, attend seminars, assist in shooting seminar lectures given by the director, keeping an updated list of upcoming events in the industry.

8. Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and integrity.

9. Maintain a professional and polished appearance and demeanor when interacting with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

10. Compile relevant case law, statutes, and regulations for use in briefs and other legal documents.

Additional information:

This position is well-suited for individuals who have recently completed their education in BCom/BBA/MA B.Tech (0-1 year of experience) or other related subjects and are willing to work hard and learn hands-on.
