Job DescriptionThis is a remote position.

SEO strategy formulation, tasked with the improvement of the business's site visibility and raising the organic search rankings, the candidate will also be responsible for the creation, implementation, and analysis of SEO programs and campaigns.

What You'll Do

Scaling the organic traffic growth and brand visibility across businesses

Work in close collaboration with the product and technology team on SEO projects and build BRD (business requirement document) for new SEO initiatives for better visibility that shows business impact


Convince, and work closely with the Content writers to ensure that they understand the importance of SEO & SEM traffic, and how to correctly implement opportunities for traffic acquisition and measurement.

Understand the business impact areas and priorities and streamline the SEO roadmap accordingly

Doing regular site audits, and site crawling to fix technical issues

Keep abreast of industry trends, contemporary practices in SEO, and Google algorithm updates. Understand the implications for our business and take action to quickly seize the opportunity and reduce risk.

Requirements

Proven experience of 3+ years in SEO

Experience working for a publisher/news media.

Proven experience in leading SEO & SEM strategy and projects to successfully build audiences for global-scale, products, and services.

In-depth technical understanding of web and mobile SEO challenges and solutions.

Expert user of Google Analytics and Google Web Master Tools and at least one market. Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g. SEMRush, Similarweb, Screaming Frog, MOZ)

Background with strong HTML, JavaScript & MS Excel skills.

Requirementsreferred Education Qualification:
B.Tech/BCA/BE and equivalent.

Required Experience & Qualification:
2 to 3 years

Skills:
Effective communication skills including a solid understanding of English grammar and professional writing ability. Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office / Google Doc, sheet (particularly Microsoft Word, Google sheet and Doc). Good understanding of SEO and content management systems. Ability to work with large data sets. An ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere. Outstanding ability to think creatively, and identify and resolve problems.

Self-motivated and enjoys working in a fast-paced and results-driven Strong analytical skills and ability to understand, report and act on data.

Innovative, inquisitive and effective problem solver.

Communication to team on project development, timelines, and results Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages Report to SEO Team Leads with successes, progress and project completion.

Basic Knowledge of HTML.

Ability to work on CMS to publish the content on the pages and fix the basic on page issues like Title, Description, Heading ( H1 to H6) , anchor text etc.

The person should know how to do text formatting, table formatting and implementation of superscripts and subscript in Google doc as well as in Microsoft word.

Front-end auditing for published pages using the guidelines.
