About Us:
We're a family-owned marketing firm based in Connecticut called Mennr. We built our company after seeing our family restaurant struggle during COVID. Since our restaurant had zero online presence, once quarantine began, all of our regulars and foot traffic stopped.

Scrambling to find a way to rejuvenate the business, we threw together a website, built our Google Business Profile, asked some of our regulars to leave us reviews, and connected our restaurant to food delivery apps (Uber Eats and DoorDash).

After coming within months of declaring bankruptcy, our family restaurant was back in business, ready to continue being passed down through the family.

Since then, we've seen firsthand other small businesses that weren't as lucky. Mennr was built to support these businesses, to keep their family business in the family.

We should note that though our story begins with our family restaurant, Mennr works best for local service-based businesses like HVAC or Roofing as opposed to local product-based businesses like restaurants and retail shops.


What We Do:
Our focus is on creating multi-generational small businesses that stay relevant in the Digital Age.

To do this, we build and maintain businesses' online presence by way of Website Design/Development, SEO, PPC, Social Media, GBP, Digital TV Ads, Content Creation, Print Ads, Reputation Management, Public Relations (think things like local news engagement and local partnerships), Offline Marketing, and Offline Advertising.

In short, we help small businesses consistently reach potential customers by managing all of their marketing and advertising for them.

Different from other marketing agencies, we build businesses that last for generations, not just years, all while charging the same fees yet delivering more value.

Our perfect Senior Social Media Executive is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to helping small, service-based businesses amplify their online presence and connect with their community in meaningful ways.

As a Senior Social Media Executive at Mennr, you will be at the heart of our mission to build multi-generational businesses that stand the test of time in the digital landscape.


Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development and Execution: Craft and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with our clients' business goals and the unique challenges of local servicebased businesses. This includes platform selection, content planning, and setting measurable objectives to track progress.
  • Content Creation and Management: Oversee the creation of engaging, brandaligned content across various social media platforms. This includes coordinating with our content creation team for visuals and copy, scheduling posts, and managing content calendars to ensure a consistent and impactful online presence.
  • Community Engagement: Act as the voice of our clients' brands on social media, fostering community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and empathetic manner. Build and maintain relationships with key community influencers and stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize social media analytics tools to track performance against goals, providing regular reports to both the Mennr team and our clients. Use insights from data to refine strategies, optimize content, and increase engagement and ROI.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and mentor a team of social media specialists, ensuring highquality work and encouraging continuous learning and development. Collaborate closely with other departments, including SEO, PPC, and Content Creation, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to our clients' digital marketing strategies.
  • Innovation and Trends: Stay abreast of the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices. Proactively suggest and implement new ideas and innovative approaches to enhance our social media offerings and provide added value to our clients.
  • Client Relations: Work directly with clients to understand their brand, audience, and business objectives. Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations to help them navigate the social media landscape and achieve their marketing goals.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in social media management, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful strategies for small to mediumsized businesses.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with clients, team members, and community stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of social media analytics and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
