Position Title: Technical Project Manager

Location: Hyderabad

Type: Full-Time

Overview: We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of software development projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and scopes while ensuring the highest standards of quality and stakeholder satisfaction. This role requires expertise in various software project management tools, development methodologies, people management, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Management:

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Track project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure on-time delivery.

Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC):

  • Manage projects using both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to delivery and maintenance.
  • Ensure adherence to development models and best practices.

Budget and Timeliness:

  • Create and manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency.
  • Monitor and control expenditures to keep projects within budget.
  • Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.

Scope and Risk Management:

  • Identify and manage project scope changes to avoid scope creep.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

People and Resource Management:

  • Lead and manage project teams, providing direction and support.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet project goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

Client and Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates on project progress.
  • Address client concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction (CSAT).

Tools and Technology:

  • Utilize project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Implement and manage APIs, including development and management with Apigee and Kafka.
  • Ensure proper documentation and version control.

Project Governance and Quality:

  • Establish and maintain project governance frameworks.
  • Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Result Areas (KRAs).
  • Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs).

Performance Metrics:

  • Track project performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Prepare and present regular project reports to stakeholders.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues clearly and effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum).
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience with API development and management, particularly with Apigee and Kafka.
  • Excellent budgeting and scheduling skills.
  • Strong leadership and people management abilities.
  • Exceptional client and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification.
  • Experience with project governance and performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with CSAT and customer satisfaction metrics.
