Total Experience - 2 to 4 YearsQualification - B.E / B.TechLocation -Pune .

Role Objective

To Validate the Powertrain system (EMS & transmission ECU's & Power supply components). Understanding & Decoding of EMS ECU aggregate requirements from PAT targets. Understanding complete NPI target deliverables and time schedule. Program specific requirement analysis from existing proven platform aggregates. Understanding applicable regulatory requirements and associated actions needed and impact on current delivery. Design complete technical solution for assigned program. Co-ordination with Supplier and internal teams for aggregate delivery and closing all open issues to meet the timelines. Design validation plan review and sign off with supplier and internal team. Support and trouble shooting of the Proto and all level builds. Support for pre PO, PO and PP batch at respective manufacturing location.

Service diagnostic procedure support and validation Program Management of all actions with schedules and deliverables in systematic manner with complete plan.

Also responsible for critical issue (escalated by ML & SMT Engineer) resolution.

Working knowledge requirement1. Very good understanding and exposure of BS6 System Validation (Gasoline and Diesel) Engine Management Development Process.2. Excellent Project management and control, communication skills, Co-ordination & Delegation, Tracking and Escalation along with Conflict resolution.3. Hands on experience Engine Management System ECU validation preferably BS6 System Validation (Gasoline and Diesel) Process. Bench, Labcar and Vehicle level validation.4. Understanding of General E&E Architecture of Vehicle / Automotive experience is added advantage5. Hands on experience of tools like CANalyzer, CANoe, CAN, LIN, UDS, Doors,RTC,RQM, etc.6.

Well versed with Project Management skills to understand, track and position deliverables in time, with respect to product/ Program development life cycle7.

Very good understanding and exposure of Automotive ECU development process.8. Hands on experience of leading the team9. Exposure to System Validation (Gasoline and Diesel) system EMS ECU Design Verification Process10. Working experience in design / development / Testing of Electronic Control Units11. Knowledge of System Validation (Gasoline and Diesel) Engine dynamics, Wiring Harness System, Vehicle Network / Architecture Topology12.

Knowledge of development tools Matlab Simulink, Vector CAN Oe, CAN alyser, ECU development tool like Inca, Visu & Using of Capel script for testing is required.13.

Knowledge on robust system DFMEA, Vehicle level validation, Matlab simulations would be added advantage14. Expertise in Embedded systems - Good understanding of Embedded Hardware, Software, Sensors & Actuators.15.

Working Knowledge of Powertrain composition with Engine, Transmission, Alternator, Battery, starting system as Mechatronics System will be an added advantage1.

Exposure to Electric Vehicle, Hybrid Vehicle technology.2. D&D effort estimation techniques3. Issue management and stake holder management4. Exposure to Power Supply System Components like Starter Motor, Alternator, Battery and DC Motors will be an added advantage.5. Exposure to AMT system design and validation will be an added advantage.
