The Position

Roche depends heavily on technology to operate successfully.

The Security Risk & Audit Product Line will provide assurance that Roche's critical systems and services adhere to security standards and cyber risks are managed to protect business critical information assets.

By providing automated control insights and streamlined monitoring capabilities, an effective and consistent Information Risk Management is enabled.

Governance and processes are also provided to assess and oversee the cyber resiliency of critical service providers and their ability to comply with privacy laws and regulations when processing and hosting Roche data.

The Solution Architect will contribute to setup, operate and enhance the Integrated Risk Management (IRM) products suite in ServiceNow by designing and implementing fit for purpose, scalable and value driven Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions while minimizing unnecessary customizations.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Designing solutions according to enterprise standards and aligned with business priorities
  • Responsible to work with the ART to ensure delivery (Handson)
  • Lead and control crosssolution architecture design questions with developers, vendors, internal and external partners and design authorities.
  • Architecture review of currently existing solutions to ensure continuous improvement and technical debt management
  • Research, evaluation, proof of concepts and adoption of new technologies
  • Designing nonfunctional requirements and implementation review to identify gaps between design and code
  • Developing and communicating architectural strategy and roadmaps
  • Seeking opportunities to create additional value and improve business processes
  • Partner with Product Managers to establish highlevel solution intent to showcase product value for stakeholders

We need a passionate person who has:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in GRC/IRM (software development, integration, architecture design)
  • Handson experience in the following areas/technologies:
  • Deep understanding of of the ServiceNow platform, GRC modules and capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of GRC principles and frameworks and best practices, e.g. ISO 27001, NIST
  • Extensive experience designing, developing, and implementing GRCrelated solutions using the ServiceNow platform
  • Ability to translate GRC requirements into a detailed solution architecture
  • Ability to develop GRC workflows, dashboards, and reports using ServiceNow's GRC modules, such as Policy & Compliance Management, Risk Management, Vendor Risk Management, Audit Management, Privacy Management and Business Continuity Management
  • Experience implementing and integrating GRC solutions: collaborate with developers, testers, and IT teams to ensure the smooth integration of GRC workflows, data, and reporting capabilities with existing systems and processes.
  • Experience delivering training and support to GRC users to ensure effective adoption of GRC solutions
  • Programming skills: able to write JavaScript or other scripting languages to customize GRC workflows, dashboards, and reporting modules.
  • Experience in agile ways of working (e.g. Scrum, SAFe)
  • Experience operating in regulated environments
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills with a proven ability to lead and inspire
  • Analytical, logical problemresolution skills
  • Experience in working in a multicultural and international environment
  • Advanced English reading, writing, listening and speaking skills
