The ideal candidate will play a significant role working with other senior Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Architects across Microsoft to identify opportunities, collaborate and deliver impact.

You will be working in a team that has a lot of AI/ML & security scope and opportunities providing ample room for learning and growth.

Required Qualifications:

BSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related disciplines or equivalent practical experience in software engineering industrySoftware development experience building commercial grade software, including experience in large scale, high availability services and experiencesExperience in cyber security architecture frameworks, development experience in security software, code and package scanning, app publishing, and cyber security engineeringExperience guiding and mentoring a team of engineers, with demonstrated commitment and passion for people growth and developmentStrong software engineering fundamentals, including coding, software design, problem solving, and data analysis skillsUnderstanding of software engineering principles, with experience developing, architecting, and driving features and experiences for large-scale services or customer-facing web applicationsDemonstrated ability to effectively work in collaborative multiple projects team environment and ship production featuresProficiency with cloud engineering, full stack development and micro servicesAdditional qualification that will be a bonusPrior experience in App publishing, application security, security engineering or cyber security domain developing tool and processes.

Prior experience of building models and operationalizing them in production.

Non-Technical skillsProblem solving - Ability to clearly understand problems, decompose them into smaller problems; and technical articulation skills so that it is easy for the team to collectively solve.

Good communication and stakeholder management skillsHigh capacity to learn and adapt to new technologies and engineering processes quickly.

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilitiesOwning and driving delivery of critical areas and features, work with the team and peers every day on solving highly complex design, coding, troubleshooting and operational challengesHelp the team manage projects using agile engineering methodologies and dealing with ambiguity, working closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Stakeholders to define and execute the product roadmapProvide deep strategical technical expertise and guidance in the design/architecture/planning stage of the project, including guidance during the execution/implementation as necessaryLead, mentor, and grow team of engineers, cultivate a high-quality engineering culture, emphasizing technical excellence and rapid iterationIdentify professional growth areas for each engineer on the team and proactively provide opportunities for increasing their skill set as engineersContinuously evaluate engineering processes and practices affecting the team with the goal of eliminating in-efficiencies and increasing the overall team effectiveness, drive these improvements both within the team and partnersDrive innovation and take measurable risks to improve our products and servicesCommunicate effectively with stakeholders and present technical vision and solutions to large audiences.
