Major Duties :

Operates independently; has in-depth knowledge of business unit / function

As subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level

Carries out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult

Assists staff with technical queries and provides coaching in the research and resolution of complex issues

Role is balanced between high level operational execution and development, and execution of strategic direction of business function activities

Conducts preliminary analysis

Responsible for direct interaction with different committees and/or management

Strategic in developing, implementing and administering programs within functional areas

Regularly reviews process documentation assuring that changes are documented on a timely basis

Identifies business knowledge gaps and ensure everyone has ownership of deliverables

Knowledge :

Excellent knowledge of FX back office operations is a must. (FX confirmations, Settlement, Static data on confirmation & settlements, CLS etc)

Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
In-depth Global Operations/Industry Knowledge is required
Highly flexible and adaptable to change

Display an acute understanding of risk and management of risk at all times by creating a framework

Experience :

A College or University degree and/or relevant Global Operations work experience is required.

Candidate must be willing to work in night shift (7:30pm to 04:30am shift)

Minimum 5 years of experience in FX back office operations is a must. (FX confirmations, Settlement, Static data on confirmation & settlements, CLS etc)

Overall experience of 8-10 years

Should be well versed with Murex application

Experience of working / partnering with Risk, Audit and Compliance to ensure that the overall organizational objectives are met. Knowledge on TLM and nostro reconciliations
