Description:

Join GlobalLogic, to be a part of the team working on a massive software project for a top-tier company that provides M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules to industries like automotive, healthcare, and logistics. By working with us, you'll assist our customer in developing firmware for end-user modules, adding new features, ensuring compatibility with the latest telecommunication and industry standards, conducting analysis, and estimating customer requirements.


Requirements:

  • B.Sc / BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in C++ and C# .NET software development
  • At least 3 years of development experience in retail / fuel industries and a strong interest in becoming an architect, or a minimum of 2 years in a System Architect role
  • Expertise in multi-threading, network (TCP/IP)
  • Strong database skills (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite)
  • Experience with programming in a Linux environment
  • Proficiency in Agile development and knowledge of client-side web development tools such as HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, XML, Ajax, SOAP, REST
  • Familiarity with security principles (encryption, vulnerabilities, PCI) is a plus
  • Understanding of Application Design Patterns
  • Effective collaboration and coaching abilities
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Passion for continuous learning and staying updated on the latest technologies
  • Broad knowledge and experience in web development frameworks like React, Vue, Angular is advantageous
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written

Job Responsibilities:

As a system architect, you will be involved in developing automation and retail solutions for Orpak and Gilbarco Veeder-Root in the fuel market.

  • Design specifications, models, and guidelines within a coherent architectural blueprint to meet user requirements
  • Plan and coordinate activities for compliance with regulations, standards, and requirements
  • Drive innovation by applying new technology and facilitating software development
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand market requirements and support product development
  • Ensure stakeholders understand the roadmap for project implementation
  • Manage and validate data sources for accuracy and security
  • Mentor development teams and assist in strategy formation
  • Create installation and user documentation
  • Define and enforce coding standards
