Birla Copper is a copper smelting and refining complex at Dahej producing copper cathodes, cast copper rods, precious metals such as gold silver and selenium, fertilizers, and other bi-products such as sulphuric acid, phosphoric acid etc.

It has a Central Library for preservation of all historical information for current and future reference.

This role holder is the repository of all documents in the library and needs to manage the Central Technical Library as per world class norms.

The role involves procurement, collation, classification, codification and appropriate documentation of operational reports, Books and periodicals, Operating manuals, Standards and specifications, Drawings, Annual Reports, Shut-down & breakdown documents, Digitization of all the library processes.

The key aspect of the role is to arrange for speedy dissemination of information to all employees across functions through creation of ambient atmosphere in the library and online publication.


Qualifications:

Master in Library Science

Minimum Experience Level:

5-8 Years
