Hsbc Tester

Core banking experience / Mainframe. Payments knowledge Reviews business requirements and provides comments on accuracy and completeness. Contributes to the identification and assessment of risks and exposures. Attends design reviews and understands application and system designs at a basic level. Develops and maintains test plans (including identifying test situations/scenarios) for less complex functions. May be responsible for conducting a test plan review and acquiring test plan signoff. Designs and creates test case documentation including test situations data setup execution steps and expected results. Interacts with business analysts/developers and other project team members while developing expected results and verifying results. Executes test cases for various types of testing including function conversion integration intersystem platform parallel stress or regression. Logs all defects in Quality Center and manages defects until they are closed approved or deferred. Provides regular status updates to Test Lead or Project Manager including any known issues or test concerns. Provides input or completes Test Report.
