About Yein Udaan:


Yein Udaan is a grassroots organisation in Chennai, established in 2017 to provide marginalised children with a safe space and diverse learning opportunities beyond school.

We have launched a Playschool program to work with young learners aged 3-5 years, enabling them to be school ready.


The role is to:
The Teacher will be responsible for teaching and conducting the Play School program at Yein Udaan.

The program would include five areas of development:
literacy, numeracy, creativity, muscle development, and manners.


The Teacher will have to create the curriculum and daily lesson plans with activity—based learning to engage the students on a daily basis.


The teacher will be expected to create and maintain records and evaluations to understand each student's interests and strengths, and calculate and report the progress and growth.

The teacher will engage with the parents to ensure learning takes place at home as well.

The role is for:

  • A patient caretaker who focuses on the development of every child

The role requires:

  • Excellent knowledge of working with small children

The role will:

  • Be fulltime, 10 AM 1 PM, Monday to Friday
  • Provide allowance between Rs. 60,000
  • Rs. 96,0000 per annum
