Job Summary:
Responsible for maintaining the integrity and performance of databases and guarantee that data is stored securely and optimally.
Informs end users of changes in databases and trains them to utilize systems.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user's specialized role.
Design and implement data base in accordance to end users information needs and views.
Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner.
Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data.
Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses.
Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users.
Determine, enforce and document data base policies, procedures and standards.
Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity.
Monitor database performance, implement changes and applynew patches and versions when required.

Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computers or Information Technology or related field.
At least - 5 years of proven software development experience.
Prefer Elastic search experience.
Prefer Database developer.
Must have good programming skills in Java or Python and experience with Linux.
Experience with No SQL databases and Big Data handling.
Interest in working with large-scale databases.
Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding.
Experience with Unix Scripting, Kernel tuning.
Familiarity with programming languages API.
Ability to apply logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
Numerical aptitude and strong analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to innovate and think out-of-the-box.
Ability to take initiative and handle concurrent tasks with appropriate priority.
Ability to meet objectives and adhere to deadlines with minimal supervision.
Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary.
