WD Software Engineer II - QA Engineer with Manual and Automation experience.
Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent
Relevant Experience: 3 - 4 years minimum in the following areas
To be considered, applicants must demonstrate a solid background in C#/.NET for backend development focusing on Windows Desktop Applications. Proficiency in web-based or mobile development is not required.
This role entails full-time software development with a key emphasis on Windows Desktop Application Automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing intricate functionalities and tools to automate manual tasks. Proficiency in .NET or any scripting language such as PowerShell is highly beneficial. Familiarity with certain DevOps functions like Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) is advantageous but not compulsory.
Mandatory
- Strong expertise in C# for backend functionalities and extensive knowledge of Windows SDK.
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting.
- Ability to work with Wireshark or similar network packet sniffers, as well as command line tools like netstat, tracert, nslookup on Windows, with exceptional troubleshooting skills for network or application issues on Windows.
Nice to Have:
- Background in the domain of access control, intrusion, or hardware testing.
- Experience in handling devices and hardware.
