About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Developer to join our growing team.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining backend applications using Java Spring Boot and a microservices architecture.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions on the AWS cloud platform.

This is a long-term project where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our product development lifecycle.


Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, test, debug, document, and maintain backend applications using Java Spring Boot.
  • Implement robust and scalable microservices architecture for complex business functionalities.
  • Develop and maintain welldefined APIs to facilitate seamless communication between services.
  • Collaborate with DevOps engineers to implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines leveraging AWS services.
  • Participate in code reviews, identify potential issues, and suggest improvements to maintain code quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure application uptime and performance.
  • Create clear and concise technical documentation for developers and future reference.
  • Actively participate in daily standup meetings, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives following Agile methodologies.
  • Work collaboratively with other developers, designers, and product managers to achieve project goals.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in software development using Java Spring Boot and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
  • Experience in designing and developing microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
  • Proven experience working with CI/CD pipelines (ideally in the AWS cloud) using tools like Jenkins or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Confluence or Jira (a plus).
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a crossfunctional team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A passion for learning and staying uptodate with the latest technologies.
