Job Description:

Key responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software code according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications in Agile/Waterfall
  • Understand High Level Design, Application Interface Design & build Low Level Design as per specifications. Perform application analysis & propose technical solution for application enhancement or resolve production issues
  • Investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, provides fixes and workarounds, and reviews changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions.
  • Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance
  • Perform Development & Deployment. Should be able to write well designed, testable, efficient Code, Unit Test & Deploy
  • Creation necessary documentation for all project deliverable phases
  • Handle Production Issues (Tier 2 Support, weekend on-call rotation) to resolve production issues & ensure SLAs are met

Technical Skills:
Main Skill – Mainframe

  • Mandatoryo Mandatory and Hands on experience in Mainframe Programming – COBOL, JCL, Micro Focus , System Utilizes like SORT, FILEAID etc. REXX, SAS scripting toolso Transfer mechanisms – Connect Direct, sFTP, etc
  • Good to haveo IMS DB/DCo Telecom domain knowledge
