Job Overview

As a Senior Procurement Specialist , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of procurement financial operations. Responsibilities include overseeing procurement activities, optimizing vendor contracts for cost-effectiveness, and maintaining robust relationships with vendors. Your contributions directly support our mission of providing exceptional mental healthcare services by ensuring smooth and effective financial operations.

Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
Work Arrangement: Onsite, Bogotá/Medellin
Orchestrating Excellence: Your Key Performance Areas
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs and ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
  • Conduct financial analysis to evaluate vendor pricing, terms, and contracts to optimize cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, invoices, and payments.
  • Perform account reconciliations and promptly resolve discrepancies.
  • Monitor and evaluate vendor performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting related to procurement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate reports and provide data analysis to support decision-making and process improvement initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement and financial management.
Requirements Credentials of Champions: Charting Your Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a preference for advanced qualifications.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement accounting or related financial management roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software, financial analysis tools, and ERP systems.
  • In-depth understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
  • Strong capabilities in Microsoft Excel and data analysis for informed decision-making and reporting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of interpreting financial data and optimizing processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for professional engagement with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities in a dynamic environment, and effectively lead cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
