Job Summary

Work in coordination with Test Lead & Project Manager to design and implement test scenarios that will insure product functionality and adaptability. As a test engineer you will be responsible for analyzing the product requirements, designing test parameters, designing test procedures, writing code and scripts to automate tests, executing test cases manually and/or automatically through scripts

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Defining test strategies, writing detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans for white as well as black box testing.
  • Review requirements in details and ensure those are complete and testable.
  • Develop positive and negative test cases.
  • Develop automation scripts using open source tools or industry standard tools. [☒Must Have]
  • Participate in code reviews for the test scripts and automation framework
  • Implement test cases manually and/or through automated scripts.
  • Build customized test setup and maintain the same.
  • Solving any errors and streamlining the testing procedures.
  • Prepare traceability report, bug log, and quality metrics.
  • Develop Product Domain Knowledge, participate / conduct in team meetings and Knowledge Sharing Sessions.
  • Take responsibility for multiple tasks in multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Report / communicate project progress to stakeholders periodically.
  • Alignment to CMMi / ISO quality process.
  • Assume additional roles and responsibilities as required

  • Ability to work in a complex team structure, including distributed (I.e. global) teams.
  • Readiness to work in flexible work timings

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Instrumentation Engineering or M. Sc. Electronics
  • 5-7 years of driven experience in Software Quality Assurances.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Experience in Industrial Protocol. Bluetooth, Profinet
  • Hands on experience on one or more Programming Like C/C#/ Python
  • Awareness of Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • ISTQB certification
