Position Overview :

  • We are seeking a skilled 3Scale Specialist with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in administering and configuring 3Scale API Gateway solutions, along with a strong background in API integration and development.
  • As a 3Scale Specialist, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining API solutions using 3Scale, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities :

  • Administer and configure 3Scale API Gateway solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and integrate REST and SOAP APIs using 3Scale to enable communication between various systems and applications.
  • Utilize Java and Spring Boot for building and maintaining APIs, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Deploy and manage APIs on container orchestration platforms such as OpenShift, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Implement API security measures, including authentication, JWT, and API key management, to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and design robust API solutions.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure the quality and reliability of APIs.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members on 3Scale administration and API development best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest API technologies, tools, and best practices, and recommend improvements to enhance API capabilities.
  • Document technical specifications, configurations, and procedures related to 3Scale implementation and API development.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 36 years of experience working as a 3Scale Specialist, API Integration Engineer, or in a similar role.
  • Proven expertise in administering and configuring 3Scale API Gateway solutions.
  • Strong experience with REST and SOAP API integration and development.
  • Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for building and maintaining APIs.
  • Handson experience with container orchestration platforms such as OpenShift.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Indepth knowledge of API security concepts, including authentication, JWT, and API key management.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
