We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer keen on building a distributed platform for ingestion, processing, and geospatial analysis of agronomic data.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's/master's in computer science or related field.
4+ year(s) experience in hands-on software development using languages such as C#, Java or Python.
4+year(s) technical engineering experience withdesigning, implementing,debuggingand launching commercial software products or web services.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with web services, storage, cloud computing, andlarge-scale systems.
Experience with data engineering and analytics using frameworks such as Apache Spark.
Understanding of modern cloud native application development and infrastructure using containers, microservices orchestration using Kubernetes etc.

Responsibilities

This is a broad cross-team role with high visibility.

You will collaborate closely with multiple teams across Microsoft to deliver key customer solutions and the technology to support them.

Lead end to end design,implementation,and delivery of the future architecture for highly scalable, durable, low latency systems. You would own the end-to-end life cycle of yourfeatures,from inception to managing it live on production.
Build an effective and agile development organization using industry leading best practices.
Lead the definition of requirements, KPIs, priorities and planning of engineering deliverables.
Troubleshoot and optimize automation, reliability, and monitoring for Live Site.
Improve test coverage for services, organize and implement integration tests, and resolve problem areas.
Demonstrate customer obsession, passion for technology & strong analytical skills
