We are searching for:

  • A Quality Assurance professional to join Bombay DC's creative team, creating cutting-edge ideas through design and guiding a group of amazing designers.

We aim to establish a design center that caters to the digital design requirements of the most innovative companies in the country. Our belief is that design can enhance both life quality and India's progress.

Overview of the Role:
We require a meticulous and skilled QA Manager to be part of our team. Responsible for leading quality assurance activities to ensure all products and services meet our high standards.

This position involves overseeing a team of QA engineers, creating and executing testing strategies, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.


Main Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:
- Guide, mentor, and supervise a team of QA engineers.
- Cultivate a culture of quality and ongoing enhancement in the QA unit.
- Establish and uphold QA procedures and norms.

Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Devise and execute comprehensive testing strategies for diverse projects.

- Manage all quality assurance aspects, including setting metrics, adopting industry best practices, and devising new tools and methods to meet quality objectives.

- Ensure thorough testing of all products to align with the company's quality benchmarks before launch.

Collaboration & Communication:
- Engage with product managers, designers, and developers to grasp project requirements and specifications.
- Communicate QA discoveries and propose solutions to stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the development team for smooth product integration and deployment.

Process Enhancement:
- Identify, document, and resolve issues and bugs.
- Enhance the QA process continuously by implementing top practices and leveraging new tools and technologies.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and progressions in QA methodologies and tools.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of quality assurance expertise, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Demonstrated proficiency in leading and overseeing a QA team in a dynamic environment.

Technical Proficiency:
- Thorough knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in manual and automated testing.
- Proficient in QA tools like Selenium, JIRA, and TestRail.
- Familiarity with various testing types including functional, regression, performance, and security tests.

Soft Skills:
- Outstanding leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong analytical and issue-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on quality.
