Overview


We're looking for a Technology Specialist who is driven and passionate and can solve complex problems by designing or modifying technology architecture, support the product from technical standpoint and testing the integration of software in these designs for correct functionality.

The role will be point of contact for all Architectural & Technical Discussion and will have close connect with all Technical Delivery team ensuring the project delivery.

This person should take ownership of enterprise scale modules within an application and can supervise and train junior staff members.

A strong background in super, insurance and financial systems will be highly desirable.

Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities

Strategic Focus

Collaborate with SDM/PM/CPM to ensure solution implementation is at par with agreed design and scope.
Managing the digital projects deliveries in cordination with other domain's technical counterparts.
Close assosiation with agile team of product managers, developers, test teams, environment engineers and release managers.
Operational Management


Working with the systems analysts and solution architects, analyse, document, and propose solutions for affected business areas by mapping business requirements to technical solutions.

Ensure non-functional requirements (performance, auditing, security, and on-going support) are considered during development.
Review the list of action log with SDM/PM to provide expert oversights.
People Leadership

Inspire and motivate team members.
Provide supervision, mentorship and guidance to new and existing members of the team and identify any training needs.
Set team and individual goals and objectives as part of the continuous performance management process.
Governance & Risk

Secure the Architecture Board approval for proposed designed, if applicable.
Participate in Architecture Board for peer review and validation.
Experience & Personal Attributes


A total of 15+ years of experience in the field of software development (.NET) and atleast 5+ years as a full stack developer.

Experience in C#, MVC and Core, jQuery, Bootstrap, SQL Server and SOLID principlesMinimum 5+ experience in Unit Test Framework (NUnit, xUnit), Mocking (Moq), Restful API's and Entity Framework / LINQ.Experience with development frameworks including ReactJS, Vue JS, orExperience with source control systems such as Git, SVN, etc.

Knowledge on Azure Service Fabric, Middle ware integration(Pega/Java)Understanding of Microservices ArchitectureFamiliarity with accessible web design & development practices.

Exposure of DevOps framework – Azure DevOps (preferred).Exposure to (or willingness to learn) the Genesis Theme Framework, SASS, Laravel, etc.

Familiarity with responsive design/development best practices.

Familiarity with relational database design, programming concepts, and best practices such as code efficiency, code optimization, object-oriented programming, and commenting.

Familiarity with Electron, React Native, and other desktop/mobile deployment platforms.
Excellent communication skills required both written & verbal.
Ability to solve complex problems and finding quick solutions.

Experience of mentoring colleagues and less experienced team membersAbility to work in tight deadlines and work under pressureAttention to detail; promotes a quality control culture.
