This full-time paid Internship is with the Careers team to manage the operations Of the External
Career Fair and career support extended to our graduating cohort of 2021. The Fair is an
towards inequity. The scope of the intern's work would include (but not be limited to) liaising with
knowledge repository and analysing placement data. The intern's role will be crucial in contributing
to the placement report, which acts as a learning document for the organisation. The duration of
the Internship will be 2 months.

Team Overview:

The Careers Team is a newly formed vertical catering to 4100+ Alumni. As Teach For India moves into its
next strategic phase, this team plays a very crucial role in working towards matching the Alumni of our
programs at an intersection of their interests and the needs of the system and our children. The
overarching charge of this team is to foster lifelong connections through platforms, events, strategic
partnerships and more to fuel ongoing interest and visibility into opportunities for individuals to engage
with careers enabling educational equity in India.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the execution of the External Career Fair process for Year 2 Fellows that
provides them with a platform to identify full-time roles within organisations.

  • Maintaining a strong communication structure with the TFI POC and the Fellows on the
  • Liaising with Alumni who need Career guidance and employment opportunities in the education
sector.

  • Update and conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of the placement data to streamline
critical findings.

  • Aid in designing and conducting surveys to enable a robust system of job opportunities for the
Alumni community.

  • Support in collating and updating internship data and report

Minimum Qualifications, Experiences and Expectations:

  • Strong data and analytical skills (excellent Excel skills, data/evidence gathering, analysis and
interpretation, hypotheses framing and validation) and research capabilities

  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
  • Rigour and attention to detail
  • Time management and flexibility to accommodate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong project management skills and ability to take complete ownership of projects

  • Laptop Required
