The Role
- The Mission of the Virtual sales is to grow the Sales of Industrial Air products via digital sales channel whilst providing world class support to the direct sales team to increase the overall Market Share and profit of the Industrial Air Division whilst achieving the yearly targets.
As a Virtual Sales representative, the mission involves following responsibilities
To develop digital sales of oil injected screw compressors, pistons and air treatment product range;
- Act as a single point of contact for customers providing pre
- Proactively follow up on sales leads and requested quotes for industrial air products
- Take ownership of territory assigned and sales lead conversion to order closure to achieve the yearly target
- Recognize that a customer of one product could also purchase other products and set up leads for new equipment opportunities
- Demonstrate proactive lead generation activity by exploring & collecting Segmental / territorial data from various data sources like projects today, industry database / listing available on open platforms etc via telemarketing. Identifies opportunities for expanding the sale through additional options and complimentary products
- Coordinate and close follow up with direct sales team and dealers for assigned territory for data input in order to generate and share the nonmeasurement Airchitect report, to achieve report generation target for the zone to strive to achieve mission of VSD ratio target for the assigned zone.
- Qualify the Auto leads & backup these leads with nonmeasurement report for direct team to take it forward.
- Followup with direct customers Flacon survey roll out in order to improve on response rate
- Challenge a status quo and emerge with new methodologies to achieve the benchmark for Response rate for defined territory.
To succeed, you will need
Experience requirements
Minimum - 2 years of experience in sales
Previous experience of Telemarketing will be added advantage
Knowledge/Educational requirements
Diploma / Degree in Engineering
Good interpersonal skills
Experience in Compressors will be added advantage
Personality requirements
High Commitment to customers
Good Analytical & Communication skills
Cope with pressure and setback and learn to develop accordingly
Problem solving attitude
Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotes preferably over the phone
Persistent and results-oriented
Patient and able to handle customer rejection
