- Design and develop back-end systems using Java and the Spring Boot framework
- Work with Kubernetes to deploy and manage containerized applications
- Implement Postgres as the primary data store for the system
- Collaborate with other developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Participate in code reviews to ensure the code quality and adherence to best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Continuously improve software engineering practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
Mandatory Skills:
- Experience in software development, with a focus on back-end development using Java.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot framework
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Strong understanding of Postgres and database design principles
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong understanding of security and data protection best practices.
