Technical Project Manager

Project Management:
- Develop and drive project plans, establish timelines/milestones, and manage within budgets.
- Identify and assess project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans to minimize the impact of potential issues.
- Engage and communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, team members, executives, and external partners, to ensure their involvement and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, facilitate collaboration, resolve conflicts, and motivate team members to achieve project objectives.
- Maintain regular and effective communication channels with stakeholders, provide project updates, and produce reports on project progress, risks, and performance.
- Coordinate with different technical teams responsible for applications' migration between Development, Test, Integration, and Production environments.
- Manage change requests for all cloud migration activities, and track all events associated with those activities in order to maximize systems availability and avoid errors.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and other relevant records.
Technology:
- 3+ years of overall development environment experience/DevOps/SRE
- Hands-on leadership and end-to-end ownership of leading and delivering platforms and products by leveraging modern technology stack (Microservices, Cloud, DevOps)
- Knowledge on Cloud concepts and DevOps principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies that can facilitate effective project management in Cloud and DevOps environments.
- Basic understanding on automation & scripting, security best practices, Infrastructure as a code.
Skills:
- Strong leadership qualities to guide and motivate their teams towards project success.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate project goals, expectations, and progress to stakeholders, team members, and clients. Effective listening and negotiation skills are vital as well.
- Highly organized to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and resources effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues, analyze alternatives, and implement appropriate solutions promptly.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of adjusting plans and strategies as needed.
- Ability to maintain composure, stay focused, and effectively handle pressure to keep the project on track.
License/Certification:
At least one of these PSM, PMP, CSM, Certified in any agile project methodology, SAFE methodology preferred.
What we are looking for: 7 + years of hands-on experience as a DevOps & Cloud A person who has experience in assisting/helping to architect, design and develop Cloud & DevOps practices on one or more cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) Must be an expert in implementing CI & CD pipeline with various DevOps tool sets. Should be able to evaluate, implement, and streamline the DevOps practices for the clients thereby speeding up the software development and deployment process Hands-on experience with CI & CD tools(like Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory/ Nexus), Source Control (like Git- Bit bucket, Github, Git lab/SVN etc.) Experience in creating continuous delivery practices by using Terraform/ARM Templates/Cloud Formation. Must possess excellent knowledge of infrastructure configuration & automation tools (like Ansible) in both development and production environments Should possess the experience in designing & building applications using container & serverless technologies. Kubernetes expertise is a must have and knowledge on Service Mesh, Tracing, Helm Charts etc would be an added advantage. Must have strong expertise in operating Linux environments and scripting languages like Shell. Good presentation and communications skills. Be willing to be challenged and learn new skills.
