Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President – Product Engineering - PMO Leader
In this role, the candidate is responsible for overseeing multiple value streams, ensuring their successful execution. You will play a critical role in driving cross-functional collaboration across geographically distributed engineering teams and delivering high-quality products on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
• Will be responsible for diving deep into technical systems, understanding them well and staying connected to the details. Lead/Deliver/Manage/Mentor/Map/Work/Own as examples)
• Candidate will be responsible for delivering results despite working in an ambiguous environment.
• Will need a strong bias for action and be able to handle multiple conflicting priorities simultaneously.
• Execute strategy and build and execute road maps for the programs that product engineering function owns.
• Responsible for overall coordination, quality and productivity and will be the primary point of contact for world-wide stakeholders of programs owned by product engineering function.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
• Solid experience of managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences including executives and non-technical leaders.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Strong understanding of product engineering lifecycle, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Technical product or program management experience
• Understanding of drivers of performance, scale and operational excellence in software and ability to work with multiple software development managers.
• Ability to think of approach that starts from end customer and then work backwards.
