EXP - 6 + yearsAbout Requirement:

As a Senior MSSQL Database Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our MSSQL database systems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain database solutions that meet our business needs.

Skillsets:

  • MSSQL DBA, HA AND DR
  • AWS, Postgres, Cassandra (Basics)
  • MSSQL DBA role, Backup and restore, HA/DR , patching , Script deployment and more on the recommendation/suggestions in T-SQL code, SSIS packages

Job Description:

  • The Sr. DBA will work with DevOps, Architecture, Product Management, Engineering, Customer Experience, Information Security, and other groups across the organization.
  • The DBA will provide database design recommendations and conduct DBA activities including development and production support.
  • DBA will create new Databases and decommission Databases in Prod and Non-Production environments.
  • DBA will design and conduct data migration, database backup & recovery.
  • Sr. DBA will be involved in Database Design and Data Architecture/ Data Modelling
  • Also, the main activities will include the Database optimization of the development and production systems working with development and infrastructure teams years of Database Administration and development experience with SQL Server, Postgres, and any other database platforms in AWS Environment.
  • Good experience in Database Management, Database Administration in an AWS environment
  • Expertlevel handson experience in a cloudbased database engineering ecosystem like AWS.
  • Understanding of scalable computing systems, data architecture/data modelling, software architecture, database structures, and algorithms.
  • Working proficiency in a Linux environment.
