Position Overview

We are looking for a Social Media Strategist to join Defy Aerospace on a full-time on-site basis. As the Social Media Strategist, you will be responsible for executing social media marketing strategies, managing communication channels, developing content strategies, enhancing social media presence, and overseeing public relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation:
    • Curate engaging and original content for various social media platforms such as text, images, videos, and graphics.
    • Create persuasive copy for social media posts and campaigns.
    • Collaborate with the design team to generate visual content in alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Platform Management:
    • Oversee social media accounts on platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and more.
    • Schedule and publish content based on the content calendar.
    • Monitor social media channels for industry trends and relevant discussions.
  • Community Engagement:
    • Interact with followers, address comments and messages, and nurture a community spirit.
    • Engage in online dialogues to boost brand visibility and credibility.
    • Handle customer inquiries or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Performance Analysis:
    • Analyze social media performance metrics and KPIs.
    • Prepare routine reports on social media activities and progress.
    • Offer insights and suggestions to enhance engagement and reach.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Cooperate with the marketing team to align social media strategies with broader marketing objectives.
    • Stay updated on the latest social media trends, best practices, and platform updates.
    • Participate in ideation and development of new social media campaign concepts.

Qualifications

  • Social Media Marketing and Communication skills
  • Experience in developing content strategies
  • Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills
  • Public Relations expertise
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Previous experience in the aerospace sector is advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
