Job Description:

Position Overview:

As a Business Analyst specializing in product development, you will play a crucial role in linking our business goals with technological solutions. Your main task will be to assist in crafting comprehensive and meticulous Business Requirements Documents (BRD) to steer the creation of new products. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders such as product managers, developers, and quality assurance teams to ensure that our products meet top-notch standards and align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for new product development initiatives.
  • Create detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRD) that clearly express stakeholders' needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure alignment and clarity of requirements.
  • Identify areas for enhancement in existing processes and products through gap analysis.
  • Conduct workshops and meetings to gather requirements and secure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Translate business requirements into technical teams' functional specifications.
  • Maintain and update BRDs throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Assist in prioritizing and managing the product backlog.
  • Ensure all requirements are testable and verifiable, working with QA teams to develop test plans.
  • Offer continuous support and clarification to development teams during implementation.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to verify the final product meets business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in product development.
  • Strong grasp of business requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed BRDs and functional specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problems-solving abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies is desirable.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Agile and/or Scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar) is advantageous.
