Duties and Responsibilities, as they align to Ryan's Key Results

People:

  • Create a positive team atmosphere
  • Review work completed by Tax Associates and Senior Tax Associates.

Client:

  • Proactively update work status to US / India liaison
  • Download & extract invoices from client networks

Value

  • Plan and manage project work allocation on a daily basis
  • Enter tax payment details from invoices into a database
  • Reconcile values from various data sources
  • Generate reports based on consultant's requirements
  • Analyze invoice data and produce summary reports
  • Conduct quality assurance when necessary
  • Assist in documentation preparation and training new hires

Education and Experience:

  • Any bachelor's degree
  • 4-6 years of experience

Skills:

To succeed in this role, the candidate must possess an intermediate understanding of tax and accounting principles, alongside excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail, meeting tight deadlines, and effective communication are crucial. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, internet navigation, and research is preferred. Ability to conduct quality assurance checks, generate procedural documents, and metrics as necessary.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not involve supervisory duties.

Work Environment:

  • Current work hours: 2.00 PM to 11.00 PM, IST. Shift adjustments may occur based on US work hours/time zone and business demands.
  • Candidates must be flexible to work any shift
  • Overtime may be necessary during peak periods
  • Standard indoor office setting
  • Prolonged sitting while using a computer
  • Regular interaction with employees in India and US via email and telephone
