About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Treasury Analyst.

In this role, you will:
  • Plan and set policies and guidelines for managing global treasury activities including funding, liquidity risk management, asset and liability management, capital management, financial performance management, and related activities
  • Monitor and evaluate global market conditions, asset liability and liquidity risk management
  • Provide overall advisory on treasury finance risk
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
  • Collaborate with Internal Audit, Corporate Risk Management and Model Governance teams as well as outside parties including regulatory agencies, accounting and consulting firms
  • Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
  • Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualification:
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics, reporting, or similar fields
  • A Master's degree or higher in Business or a complementary field (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics,CAs preferred
  • Working knowledge of Essbase and financial reporting systems and applications
  • Strong technical and visualization skills (particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of financial analysis, financial statements, and key processes in financial services companies
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy - proven ability to produce quality results timely
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to complete data investigations and summarize findings in a clear and meaningful way.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to summarize findings into concise points geared towards the audience.
Job Expectations:
  • Provide monthly and quarterly enterprise financial reporting for executive management, including insights on emerging company and/or industry trends
  • Analyze company financial performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis with strong application of Excel
  • Provide financial strategy insights and analysis including peer benchmarking, profitability analysis, goodwill impairment and other valuation exercises
  • Prepare analysis and content as required for executive management presentations, including Board of Directors meetings, Operating committee meetings, Investor Relations road shows, and Wells Fargo filings
  • Preparing schedules for regulatory reports; provide support for various stress forecasts, including CCAR / DFAST, recovery, and resolution. Also, coordinate the development and execution of legal entity forecasting capabilities to support financial crisis management
  • Ensure active compliance with risk management and enterprise control requirements while continue to improve the process
  • Build effective relationships with partners in support of all deliverables
  • Ownership on retrieval of financial data, test for accuracy in the data presentation, identification and resolution of any data reporting issues
  • Create and/or maintain systems, models or EUCTs to deliver reporting. Also, to maintain relevant documentation for the same
  • Recommend business strategies or approaches and provide inputs to the finance leaders and business leaders based on various analyses
  • Proactively rationalizing/simplifying of the existing processes to bring in efficiency wherever applicable.
