The Opportunity

The individual should be able to build complex test plans ( functional as well as system) covering all the aspects of the workflows and features both at the component level.He/she needs to have an interest and capability in understanding the architecture and design limitations, come up with a comprehensive test plan in exercising and breaking the developed solution and automating the test scenarios. About the Team

You'll be reporting to our Director of Engineering, who has been with Nutanix for about 8 years. They bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team, and are always willing to support and guide their team members.

Your Role

  • Understand the test specification that suite customer deployments and come up with detailed test plans for the functionality.
  • Automation framework development and enhancements.
  • Automate test cases and execute as part of new feature testing, and enabling automated regression runs for subsequent releases.
  • Execute the test plans to deliver quality products.
  • Understand requirements, functional and design aspects of the product.

What You Will Bring

  • Good programming skills and Experience in Python,
  • Good knowledge of automation framework
  • Experience of 3-5 years in developing Enterprise software.
  • Experience with automation efforts, writing and debugging automation tests for complex enterprise software.
  • Familiar with one of the following domains (Databases (SQL Server/Oracle), Storage(SAN/NAS/HCI), Virtualization)
  • Experience with trouble shooting and debugging in Windows environments.
  • Experience working with compute/storage services of Azure (File/Blob/Disk Storage), AWS (EC2/S3/EFS/RDS)Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Related field required. Advanced degree in Computer Science preferred.
