A Day in the LifeTechnical Analyst
  • Prepare technical specifications for Integrations, Enhancements, and Reports.
  • Oversee internal and external resources for assigned projects.
  • Manage development efforts for core functionality customization, integration, and reporting.
  • Develop project plans and supervise ERP support projects.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements and changing requirements for recommending high-performing and stable environments.
  • Create technical specifications for integrations, enhancements, and reports following internal architectural guidelines.
  • Coordinate with ERP vendors and monitor their plans for software and environment upgrades.
  • Lead the technical vision by defining high-level design blueprints and detailing specifications for application build/enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects to ensure seamless integration of systems within the application's technology stack.
  • Establish and enforce application-specific architectural standards to ensure scalability, integrity, and compliance with requirements.
  • Supervise the design, testing, and modification phases of applications to meet technical requirements.
  • Assess and provide recommendations on key elements' availability, responsiveness, reliability, and resilience in application architecture during release and implementation stages.
  • Utilize SQL and PL/SQL hands-on experience.
  • Technical proficiency with BY DMS or BY Connect is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of BY's demand planning, ESP, and Inventory optimization data model and tables.
  • Experience in supporting BY APS, JDA, or Manugistic's demand or ESP scripts and batches.
  • Troubleshoot batch issues with debugging skills.
  • Expertise in Distribution Requirements Planning and Demand and Supply Planning.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying solutions to customers effectively.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as needed.
  • Passionate about learning new concepts and tenacious in problem-solving.
  • Prior experience with SQL and Supply Chain certification is highly desirable.
  • Preference for Project Management certification (PMP).
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with any Planning system (SAP APO/IBP/Kinaxis).
Principal Level
  • At least 7 years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 5 years with an advanced degree.
Nice to Have
  • Over 7 years of practical experience in implementing and architecting global enterprise Demand and Supply Planning applications like JDA/Blue Yonder, SAP APO, SAP PPDS, SAP SNP.
  • Previous experience at Medtronic is advantageous.
  • Hands-on expertise in SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Preferable technical familiarity with BY DMS or BY Connect.
