Job Description:
Technology graduates (Engineering or MCA) along with an MBA degree are required.

  • Minimum of 3 years in relevant consulting or industry role, involved in driving and managing Cloud projects
  • Over 2 years of experience in analyzing and reporting cloud consumption costs
  • Skilled in developing data visualization and dashboards for senior executives
  • Evaluate cloud expenses, identify areas of waste, and suggest optimization strategies to reduce costs significantly
  • Set up and customize technology for tracking cloud usage, continuously monitor expenses, and propose cost-saving measures
  • More than 2 years of hands-on experience with Cloud Financial Management tools (e.g. Cloudability, CloudHealth)
  • Proficient in cost analysis and interpreting cloud provider cost usage reports
  • Familiarity with cloud cost management processes like chargeback and showback
  • Thorough understanding of cloud architecture and associated pricing models
  • Knowledge of achieving value from the cloud and establishing financial operations KPIs for tracking benefits post-migration
  • Capable of assisting stakeholders in comprehending their cloud expenses aligned with their business plans and projected budgets
  • Experience in creating instance tagging methods and implementing controls to monitor excessive cloud service usage
  • Flexibility to travel up to 50-100% depending on client requirements and industry sectors

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in cloud architecture and establishing protocols and guidelines for tracking planned cloud expenses
  • Ability to spot opportunities for cost optimization through cloud financial and usage reports
  • Capability to draw meaningful insights from cost utilization reports for potential cost savings
  • Understanding of complex IT systems in an enterprise setup, including virtualization, private cloud technologies, backup solutions, disaster recovery, DevOps, and API management
  • Experience collaborating with teams located across different global regions
  • Competence in measuring KPIs, formulating scorecards, and pinpointing areas for enhancement
  • Holding a FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP) or any relevant Public Cloud Certification(s) (AWS, MS Azure, GCP)
