Role: Product Engineering Head (Front-End )

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Engineering with a strong background in front-end development, particularly with iOS, Android, web and Flutter platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large teams, with a demonstrated track record of successfully delivering multiple mobile applications. As the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of front-end engineering initiatives, driving technical excellence, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality mobile and web applications.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage a team of front-end engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to foster professional growth and ensure successful project outcomes.

2. Oversee the end-to-end development process of mobile applications on iOS, Android, and Flutter platforms, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of front-end solutions.

4. Define and enforce best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies to maintain high-quality code and efficient development processes.

5. Drive technical innovation and ensure the adoption of emerging front-end technologies and industry trends to improve user experience and performance.

6. Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to the engineering team to maintain high standards of code quality and maintainability.

7. Monitor project progress, identify risks and bottlenecks, and implement effective strategies to mitigate challenges and ensure on-time delivery.

8. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, establish project timelines, and provide regular updates on project status and milestones.

9. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends in front-end development, mobile technologies, and design patterns to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

10. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing, open communication, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

2. Proven experience in a leadership role, managing large engineering teams (10 to 15 members), and successfully delivering mobile and web applications.

3. Extensive expertise in front-end development with a focus on iOS, Android, and Flutter platforms.

4. Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, , ).

5. Proficient in mobile development languages such as Swift, Kotlin, and Dart.

6. Hands-on experience with mobile app development tools, frameworks, and IDEs (e.g., Xcode, Android Studio, Flutter).

7. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.

8. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical challenges.

9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

10. Proven track record of delivering high-quality software projects on time and within budget.
