Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Web Designer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying our websites, from layout to function, according to our specifications.

They will create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

This role involves working closely with the administration, IT, and marketing teams to develop and maintain our school's online presence.


Key Responsibilities:

Website Design:
Design and develop responsive, high-quality websites using WordPress, React, and other web design software.
User Experience (UX): Create user-friendly interfaces and experiences that ensure optimal usability.

Content Management:
Manage website content and ensure it is up-to-date, accurate, and relevant.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the marketing team to implement design and content changes that align with our branding and communication goals.


Performance Optimization:
Optimize websites for speed and scalability.

SEO Best Practices:
Implement and maintain SEO best practices to improve website visibility and ranking.

Maintenance and Updates:
Perform regular updates, backups, and troubleshooting to ensure website security and functionality.

Design Assets:
Create and incorporate visual elements such as graphics, images, and videos to enhance website appeal.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:
Proven experience as a Web Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in WordPress, React, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and other web design technologies.

Design Software:
Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and web design tools (Sketch, Figma).

UX/UI Principles:
Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles and best practices.

SEO Knowledge:
Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.

Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively with team members.

Attention to Detail:
High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all design work.

Time Management:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Back-End Development:
Basic knowledge of back-end development and database management.

Graphic Design:
Skills in graphic design and photo editing.

Analytics Tools:
Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
