Compliance to Syngene's quality standards at all times.Role Accountabilities:
Key responsibilities of this position include development of chromatographic methods and processes for the analysis and purification of small molecules to support medicinal chemistry efforts.
Utilization of a diverse set of instruments and technologies, such as (but not limited to) HPLC, SFC-MS, HPLC-MS, mass-directed purification and preparative SFC is necessary.
Lead the DAS teams and take care of subordinate development.Actively participate in research efforts directed at improving process efficiencies, expanding the range of assays and applications and improving technologies and infrastructure, from conceptualizing to experimental design through implementation.
Adherence to all operating procedures and other laboratory practices including corrective and preventive actions and calibrations as and where applicableEffective communication with Discovery Chemistry Analytical R&D group leaders and Discovery chemistry team to resolve the issues.
Giving technical inputs and coordinating with the document team personnel for the preparation of documents. Maintenance of the Auditable documents & product traceability.Attend training and follow environment, health, and safety (EHSS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety.
Skills and competencies:
A working knowledge of LC-MS is necessary. Practical experience with SFC is highly valued. Familiarity with NMR is a plus.
Leadership qualities such as excellent communication skills and an ability to perform in teams are also essential for this position.
Experience:10-20 years of Experience with emphasis in analytical chemistry.Education:
MSc/Ph.
D. in Analytical Chemistry / Organic Chemistry
