We are having an urgent opening for the position of Network Administrator for a
reputed Company at the Pune location.**
Overall Summary:Monitor, maintain, secure, and support all levels of the core IT infrastructure for our global enterprise spanning 60+ remote locations, data centers and cloud data centers. Monitor the environment to ensure maximum security, stability, efficiency, performance, and integrity of global infrastructure resources.

Director of IT Operations and Security

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • No direct reports

General Duties and Responsibilities:
_(What you will be doing)_

  • Create technical metrics that report the overall health of the infrastructure and establish baseline performance expectations
  • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
  • Implement, monitor, and maintain the instances of onpremise and cloud infrastructure services
  • Work closely with IT peers and vendors to answer technical questions or resolve issues with performance and access
  • Monitor security and hardware logs and proactively work on problems before they are reported
  • Develop and deploy proactive solutions and setup alerts to ensure system stability across the organization.
  • Participate in testing of disaster recovery procedures??
  • Physical installation of network and server gear into racks and upgrading?hardware and software components as required
  • Maintain topology diagrams and documentation for network infrastructure and services
  • Coordinate with internal business partners for opening or closing of branch offices
  • Act as point of escalation and overflow for Support Technicians
  • Provide technical leadership and training to Support Technicians
  • Perform occasional scheduled maintenance on nights, weekends?and provide 24x7 oncall coverage as part of an oncall rotation

  • Demonstrated experience diagnosing and troubleshooting system problems in a complex and varied systems environment?
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Responsible, highly reliable, organized; able to work individually and collaboratively with peers and users
  • Implementation and administration of firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, and wireless LAN controllers
  • Ordering and administering ISP, MPLS, MoE, and other WAN circuits
  • Working knowledge of data, voice, video and wireless communication
  • Demonstrated handson experience working with networking technology (Router, Switch, Firewall, and Wireless)

Education and Experience:
_(Practical Experience)_

  • 12 years of managing and monitoring IaaS or PaaS in the public cloud?
  • Strong knowledge of telephony and Unified Communications technologies (Microsoft Teams)
  • Knowledgeable in Azure hybrid cloud integrations
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills
  • Industry Certifications (Azure, O365, MCSA/E, CCNA, GSEC, CEH)
