Job description

Role: Pricing & Renewals

Designation - Pricing Specialist/Lead

Location: Bangalore /Pune

Shift timings: 3:30 AM IST hours onwards (Australian)

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the day-to-day progression of pricing requests for Support Service new business and renewals
  • Ensure that standard OLAs (Operational Level Agreements) are met, or that a revised ETC (Estimated Time of Completion) is communicated and agreed upon with the requestor if the standard OLA is not achievable.
  • Ensure that all pricing is accurate, completed with due diligence, and is properly governed to minimise operational risk exposure and so that services target margins are achieved.
  • Ensure that daily pricing report (a.k.a. Daily Pricing Scribbles) are submitted daily or not later than the next day if engaged in a big deal requiring extended time. This provides the Corporate IP for the business and our clients
  • Ensure that standard documentation practices of the team are followed. Aside from the Scribbles report, ensure that the released MS Pricing bucket is copied on every release of pricing, that the deal folder and released files naming convention are followed, and that the Request and Release emails are also saved in the deal folder.
  • Ensure that end-to-end pricing service to (internal) customers will also include presenting pricing outcomes in an easy-to-understand format with appropriate narrative to the approving Manager and/or the requestor and other Branch stakeholders.
  • For renewals pricing, ensure that released pricing for all RNW > $100k ACV has an executive summary narrative of the Year-on-Year (YOY) contract price movement, a vendor level YOY price movement narrative and includes explanation(s) for extreme YOY price movement of outliers.
  • Engage with the requestor and other stakeholders in a manner that will allow the Pricing Analyst to more effectively frame the overall pricing proposition
  • Good communication skills: Both written and verbal
  • Ability to engage with onshore stakeholders
  • Good MS Excel skills
