We are seeking an International Officer to be part of our team. As an International Officer, your role will involve collaborating within the International Recruitment & Partnerships team under the External relations directorate. This team, comprising over 180 staff, focuses on attracting top students nationally and internationally to our courses.

You will be required to communicate with various academic and administrative personnel, including senior University management, regularly and provide timely reports.

What you'll bring to the role

  • Degree level education in an English-speaking country
  • Current knowledge of education systems and government policy in India
  • Current understanding of the UK Higher Education system and application processes (e.g., UCAS)
  • Familiarity with the broader external market environment
  • Proficiency in databases, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and web-based research
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to multitask and exercise discretion consistently
  • Capability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Outstanding time management, administrative, and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, working well independently and meeting tight deadlines
  • Exceptional Presentation skills, including experience in addressing large groups
  • Proficient in English
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience meeting the mentioned qualifications or a track record of advancement through 4+ years in relevant work
  • Background in customer-facing roles with a customer-centric work approach
  • Experience in data management and processing
